As of today, we are sure that you probably are aware of the severity of COVID-19 and how it has changed our life since.
It’s tough time for all of us, not only for us in the wedding industry, but most importantly, we know how hard it hits all the couples who are in the midst of planning their wedding in the near future. Here in this page, we would like to share some of our opinions, some insights on how celebration of love would be during this pandemic.
How can you still celebrate love in this period:
While waiting for the government and Ministry of Health’s further instructions (on when we can safely have a wedding celebration, or the extra precaution and procedures that we need to beware of on having a wedding during this period), preparations and discussions can still be done on tentative basis.
In a foreseeable near future, wedding will be emphasising on social distancing practices and limiting amount of guest involved. Before the important day comes, we need to rethink the necessities, such as safety measures, for the both of you and your families. After all, they are the ones we need to protect the most.
Small Intimate Wedding
As social distancing is the ultimate key to be practiced in this unsettling time, weddings should be strictly provided to limited members, whereby only the close ones are invited for a more meaningful wedding. The good thing is, ceremony gets to be simplified, doing only the essentials like exchange of vows, tea ceremony, photos of the cherished moments. With the smaller event, your big day gets to be celebrated with smaller but appreciable budget, carefully curated to spend on only the essentials and shift your spending focus onto honeymoon.
By the way, have you considered throwing a backyard wedding at the comfort of your own home? Tying the knot in a rather laid back style? Planning personalised backyard reception together with your partner can be exciting, and that will be a bonus in creating more sweet memories together too. On the other hand, if home isn’t a preferable choice, venues like art gallery, cosy cafe, event hall, small rental villa and heritage houses aren’t uncommon and could be a perfect space for your perfect day. Just be sure to reach out to event planners for helps!
Celebrating relationship with portrait session
We have encountered endless happy moments and we deeply realised that, feelings can be remembered through photographs. Hence, it is really the best way to commemorate relationship bond of couples with photography.
Well, we know what you have in mind; months of preparation to have destination pre-wedding photoshoot in your dream destinations yet feeling doubtful about future circumstances. Though it may not be possible to achieve this due to movement restriction order this year, we can still work around it. We could lay the options on going to local places, as Malaysia is blessed with scenic natures. Indoor pre-wedding shoot can be another great idea, at the same time, staying safe and avoid getting exposure to the nasty virus too.
Having an intimate portrait session, it will be a good chance for couples to develop deeper connection in their relationship; to have small talks, to stare closely at each other, to hold each other tight, to discover a new perspective of love. Capturing and documenting the real bond in a meaningful way, let us manage that part for you.
Wedding reschedule
We totally are aware of all the efforts you have put into the preparation and we understand that the considerable amount of hard works for planning are undeniably energy-sapping as well. If you wish to change the date and time of the wedding, remember that our help is always within your reach, be it by dropping us a message or an email, or simply give us a ring.
Be sure to talk to your planners or vendors too. We are positive that they will be keen to assist and more than happy to go through the reschedule agreements with you. Tip on rescheduling your big plan: though it may be challenging, getting to know your new date and time as soon as possible will be crucial. As many affected couples during this trial period of COVID-19 will be rescheduling their weddings, it is important to make sure that you’ll have a higher chance to secure your preferred vendors on your desirable date. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
